A wonderful, warm, family-run hotel & restaurant! All cyclists are warmly recommended to stop here on a multi-day tour or to end / start the bike tour here! We were absolutely thrilled. We arrived here in the evening after a 100km bike tour. Our bicycles were connected in the courtyard of the restaurant and guarded by the farm dog. The rooms are simple but OK. The beds are very comfortable, the food in the restaurant is fantastically delicious. Here you do what you can: schnitzel. In many variations. I had the Florida schnitzel. Lovely! If the side dishes hadn't already been enough, you would have been given a second look. Breakfast the next day (for € 8) took place (extra for us) from 7:00 a.m. Everything was on the table, what you could want: yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, rolls, jam, coffee, juice. And our bicycle bottles were also filled with apple spritzer for free. With so much energy, the last 200km stage could be started perfectly.

We were there on a Sunday, sat outside, with good weather ... Unfortunately, I was a little unlucky with my order: small rump steak with french fries and salad ... I ordered medium, it was well done and also slightly tough (that can on the piece of meat) When I was asked if everything was ok, I said the steak was too well done, the lady said .... oh then you made a mistake when ordering (sorry, but I don't think so) the young man wrote down Medium ... one could have reacted differently But mistakes happen, you should then stand by them ......

Super local! The food tastes very, very tasty as always! The salad with dressing is a dream! In addition a friendly staff! Service is very important here.

Would have made use of the out-of-home offer for the first time today due to the corona crisis. Are just as satisfied with the quality, taste and size as when eating on site. Great idea, keep it up. Looking forward to the Struwen on Good Friday.

Matching the season there was game. Roast deer leg. The roast with lettuce, potatoes, croquettes and red cabbage was very tasty. Highly recommended.

After 2 hours of waiting, my group got their food. After we had ordered people who ordered after us the "courts" rather get. At an hour wait we asked the first time a waiter, who answered us very unfriendly. 30 minutes later, we asked another employee again in nice tone, if the food was yet to come. Very rude, we were also answered by this waiter. When the order came after more than 2 hours, there were small mistakes in the dishes, in contrast to the order, but that was still limited. But the food itself was catastrophic. The food was lukewarm and the meat was full of water. In the photos you can see what accumulates for a liquid, what happens when you put the meat in the microwave, so it thaws faster. Inside, the meat was still ice cold and was not edible. Once this piece has been cut, a nasty secretion streamed from the muscle fibers of the piece of meat. Probably the microwave caused the meat cells to burst so that the cell fluid could escape. The seating was ok. All in all this was one of the worst restaurant stays I have ever had And I would not recommend anyone to dine there for the service and quality of the food. I would like to give 0 stars.
